Kittens grow and change almost daily. They have specific health, nutrition, and behavior recommendations. Your kitten can expect to visit the hospital three to four times by his or her fourth month so that we can administer appropriate vaccines, discuss proper nutrition, assess and monitor any congenital defects, and set the foundation for good behavior. Below is an example preventative health schedule:
First Preventative Health Consultation: 7-8 weeks
Complete physical examination
Complete fecal parasite examination
FeLV/FIV blood testing
1st FVRCP vaccine (panleukopenia/respiratory viruses)
Broad spectrum deworming
Second Preventative Health Consultation: 11-12 weeks
Complete physical examination
2nd FVRCP vaccine (panleukopenia/respiratory viruses)
1st FeLV vaccine
Broad spectrum deworming
Third Preventative Health Consultation: 15-16 weeks
Complete physical examination
3rd FVRCP vaccine (panleukopenia/respiratory viruses)
2nd FeLV vaccine
1-Year Rabies vaccine
